Though it was kind of weird that they decided to have it, but half-ass it.

To be honest, the BC on the 260 isn't much worth it apart from a few flagship games. Halo/ninja gaiden of course.

But it's a lot of work, for something that doesn't really sell consoles. They can't but a mini xbox in the 360, it would be far too expensive, so they have to emulate it. The only reason that the PS2 plays PS1 games so well is because it has a PS1 as its sound chip.

The PS3 will have 50-80% BC. AS long as they live up to a sony checklist. They play.

I have a 360, and I want a wii. 360 is awesome, has about the usuable power of a PS3, and are much cheaper. The wii I really like the concept of.
