I used Jigglypuff a lot for the single play adventure things, like the one where you face 3 gigantic characters (bowser, ganondorf and mewtwo?). Jiggly has this instakill move when timed VERY right.
Other than that I like Fox, although I don't really master him that well. Still get beaten now and then by my younger brother with Luigi.

Jigglypuff has always been one of my favorite characters. Stupid opponents always scoff when I choose him, but as soon as I start putting them to sleep and using the instant kill 'rest' move they start singing a different tune.

Seriously, that spin attack does damn good damage and throws you almost half the stage! Plus he can spawn bombs, and use that annoying drop attack where he stabs DIRECTLY INTO YOUR HEAD.
I hate Link in SSBM.
<3 Roy. I agree, used as a button masher, he's cheap, but if taken the time with, Roy can be a powerhouse. Master the timing and throw distance of his Sword's Dance, because it is AWESOME.

When every single character is labeled as cheap, none of them are cheap. My fave, Kirby, is frequently labeled as a cheap character. The only characters that aren't cheap are the ones that suck.
