Yeah, I became rather fond of Ike in Fire Emblem. I've seen FE boards where people whine that he's really unlikeable because he comes across as stiff, honor bound, and generally just kind of wooden in general... which is basically all the reasons I liked the guy. He's a bit dour but not a whiner, and generally doesn't seem to get excited about things without having good reason. I mean, shit, it's not like I play these games for a super deep plot, and if need a guy to be dorky comic relief there's always Boyd, who also happens to be a premier one round killer. Besides, Ike tears it up in the late game of POR and is just a flat out monster in Radiant Dawn. I completely agree that I wish his Radiant Dawn appearance had been used as a character model; he makes more sense as a heavy when he's a full adult, since speed is something he caps consistently in the first game but not so often in the second, plus he just looks more like a bad ass.
