It is very doable. Just change the tags in iTunes. I'm lazy, so I'm waiting for a torrent of the tagged version.

Well, a fair bit of Mario Galaxy was actually done with MIDI as well, so only some of it would be. None of the Sonic music is, despite how awesome that would be. (Check out OCRemix's Project Chaos if you don't believe me. Specifically Breathtaking Vision (Sky Sanctuary Remix) if you want Mario Galaxy style -- and this was quite some time before Mario Galaxy, though probably not actually by a live orchestra, maybe using Garritan or something).

The Sonic tracks aren't live at all? Some of the sounds are pretty realistic.
edit: Yay! The Yoshi's Island from Melee song is the Air Platform Theme from SMW. One of my favourite Mario songs, though I prefer the piano...
