And I need suggestions for parts. I'm gonna be on around a $1200 budget, and I think I'm gonna build it myself. So yeah, tell me what parts I should get and for how much and all that fun stuff and give me suggestions on building it. I want at least a gig of RAM and a GFX card that can handle most games (Maybe the X1800?)

As your attorney I advise you to check out these links immediately:

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/How_To_Build_A_Computer/Choosing_the_parts
http://shsc.info/PCPartsPickingGuide
http://www.overclockers.com.au/wiki/OCAU_Guide_to_Build_A_PC
http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1558,1967933,00.asp?kc=ETRSS02129TX1K0000532

Then look up the prices for the parts on something like http://www.pricewatch.com or maybe just http://www.newegg.com

The x1800 should start around $250 by now, so perhaps you will have a chance at building the PC you want for that price.

Alright, thanks man!

Also, some processor/mobo reccomendations would be good. I'm more in the know abot GFX cards.

edscoble:
not quite an expert but I do notice that Asus tend to have the best motherboard.

some people seem to stated that the AMD processor is faster for the price than the Intel counterpart.
