Post too much and not many of them have much to say.

Broken quite a few rules, and don't really actually have much of an attitude to fix any of them.

Just, chill out, and before you post something, think about if anyone would actually want to read what you are posting. It certainly helps. Because what's the point of a post if nobody would actually want to read it?

I saw Mclusky live. The singer reminded me of a British Jack Black.  Good times.

I've always seen Bullet for my valentine as being too emo. But i guess thats because I dislike a lot of the screming you tend to get in the songs from those types of bands.

Well My Bloody Valentine were around long before these shitty mall punk bands. The name comes from a low budget b-horror flick- whereas these radio-safe emo bands made up their names and are completely sincere about them.

I guess I associate something different with the name since I know and love MBV but am blissfully ignorant about the mall punk bands.  Seriously though  -- the parents of shoegazer.  Good stuff!

Also, keep in mind that it's a British band, so bloody has a double meaning :)

My Bloody Valentine is an awesome name for a band but you'd have to hear their music to reach that conclusion.  The name fits their sound perfectly - just not in the way you think it does (if you haven't heard them, that is).  Am I making sense?

I think the problem is that we don't like bands and our knee-jerk reaction is "FCUKIN EMOTAL BANDS GHUAHUHUHRWOAAAAAAAAAAAAR" and this is worse than "I am not a fan, no. But try 'x' band" which some people have been doing above to some success.

I do not like Bullet For My Valentine, and I am not enough into their scene to recommend a band to you that would sound similar but I like. I'm sure such a band exists though.

One of my housemates is desperatly in love with Bullet. I am pretty sure this is a decent reason to dislike them, but I have too much other shit to listen to, to listen to enough of them to be able to form a coherent opinion about them. I don't like the fact I'm willing to pre-judge like that and not even listen to them, but seriously guys, I dont know if you're noticed this, but...

Fucking South Wales is the breeding ground for these assholes, the "Music Scene" around here consists of 50 Funeral For A Friend-a-likes popping up every week to further annoy everyone. Bring on the next shitty trend in MTV rock music already.
