All right, who here has seen the movie Clue?

I heard about it, and wrote it off as stupid. How on earth can you turn a board game into a movie? Turns out it's not only possible, but it's hilarious. The cast is brilliant, the writing is witty, the only problem is the pacing at the end. Anyways, seriously, check it out.

Based on the game Cluedo, for the non-Americans in the audience.

Which version did you see.  The one with all three endings, or just one ending?

Years ago, I did the same thing and wrote it off, but upon actually seeing it realized it was hilarious.

The DVD plays all three endings in a row, as does the VHS.

Clue is one of the funniest damn movies ever.

Especially because of the three endings.

One of my plans for this summer is actually play Clue while watching CLue. It will be awesome.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

I used to play Clue a lot, we lost the lead pipe, so we used one of the plastic lazer beams from the Star Wars toys.

The movie though, is genius. Although I didn't know there was a version of the movie with only one ending. It's pretty much the point of the movie, that the ending is like people playing the game.

In theaters one random ending would play, for home release all were included.

OHman, I remember Clue. I used to play the board game ALL the time so I was blown the day find out there was a movie. Good times.

My only complaint is that multiple ending idea was a good one, but as I remember it the way it was that out of the three there was only one REAL ending. I thought they should have all been like that.

Ah, until Clue I never would have found myself enthralled with a Tim Curry character.

Addendum: Immediately afterward I saw Hunt for Red October.

Random bonding moment involving the movie Clue:   I was in a coffee shop years ago, and this girl I sort of knew, Monique, was there with some friends of hers, (I didn't really know her that well at this point) and she just up and blurts out "I've totally got the last line of the movie Clue stuck in my head!"  None of the people she was with knew what she was talking about. At which point I stood up and calmly replied,

"I'm gonna go home and sleep with my wife."

Just one of those little slices of life that make it all worth living.
