Bands with stolen names
The Eyeball Kid:
--- Quote from: Scandanavian War Machine ---duh guys. The Doors obviously stole their name from the part of architecture that we use to enter and exit buildings.
how come no one mentioned this before?
--- End quote ---
Not to ruin your joke or anything but its 'cause we know they're actually named after Aldous Huxley's 'Doors of Perception'
is 'Johnny Truant' a good band? I'm obsessed iwth the House. The author sister, Poe, stole her name from an author, but that dosen't really count
youbelongtothecity:
--- Quote from: Mattie ---The Fall of Troy (song by Tom Waits)
--- End quote ---
They also have a song called Tom Waits...ooo.
and 80's Embrace are sweet. Some of the lyrics are a little cheesy but there's some really sweet songs like Money.
musicdudejoe:
cameron frye took the name from the character in ferris buehler's day off(though i think they spell it different)
SensoryOssuary:
Suburban Kids With Biblical Names takes their name from a line in the Silver Jews song "People," which is sad because they suck.
hipsterboner:
texas is the reason - from the misfits?!!!
