Show me your Instrument!
« on: 20 Jun 2006, 13:27 »

Since there are lots of people into music here, I'm assuming some of you play...stuff. So let's all just show each other what it is we stroke, pluck or blow into to make funny sounds.

I'll start off with my geetars, which are all I have at the moment. I plan on getting a piano at some point though, and a fretless bass.

This is "Ol' Faithful". My first guitar, which I've had for three and a half years now.

This, I never use. It's nice, but I never use it. Someone buy it please?

This is my Glam-Axe. Washburn PS500. Pure rock'n'roll.

And this is my main squeeze. I don't use it in any bands currently, but it's the one I use to write songs and just noodle about at home. It's an Ibanez S7420, and I will soon be removing the finish, to make it natural mahogany instead.

Now, kiddies, show me your tubas!!

I have no camera, so I'll show company photos.

It like this but brass and with any more dents. I named him James Earl Jones with the Aid of some fourmites.

Again brass with more dents. They're both school horns, but I loerve them so.

Same thing, more dents, I really shouldn't be using a beginning horn still, but I don't have the cash to buy a new one. My horn

Pretty much exactly the same. A little scratched up from my uncle (got it from him)

hehe, that is true. but the music i play is more drone metal than indie pop. still, it wouldn't feel right for me to play such a guitar.

anyway, how much would you want for that guitar?

My lovely Telecaster.

My Fender electro-acoustic.

My super-awesome crappy old Yamaha organ that I love very much.

I'd post a picture of my encore acoustic, which is actually my favourite of my isntruments and I have written most of my songs on, but it's a piece of crap and isn't worth looking at.

The Yahama 402S. I lurv it. Mainly for the green finish, mother-of-pearl inlays and loads of gold. Makes for a very special image. The tone is pretty nice as well.

It's very metal.

It's all about the Baritone/Euphonium. And our school uses Sousas anyways, it hard enough to lug one of these around with good posture.

Awkward Silence, I'd go with the Music Man, but with just that humbucker. You dont really need two of them on a Music Man.
Also, you have used a Music Man before, right? Because the Music Man's neck is a lot more thicker then you avarege Squier or Fender Jazz Bass, and it takes time and pain getting used to.

Also, what company is that last bass? Never seen that model, looks good actually.

Also, generally images and whatnot aren't allowed in signatures. Just a heads up there.

I guess it's just the motion blur that bothers me.
