Heard mention of breaks and i vaguely remember someone asking about drum 'n' bass aaaaaages ago but is anyone else on here into this stuff?
At the moment i'm nodding my head to a 2 CD fabio and grooverider mix, fabio playing smooth liquid drum 'n' bass and grooverider mixing heavier tunes based more around catchy basslines...oooh hive and keaton - bring it on just got mixed in, i love this track....anywho i'm not much into clubbing but i love mixing tunes in my room as its often the only way of experiencing this music outside of a club, or at least its the only way of accessing the heavier stuff where i am. Alot of cheesy jump-up in manchester and not enough heavy tech drum 'n' bass. Not that i dislike cheesy jump-up, its just the crowds tend to be a bit intimidating round here, u get alot of violence in the clubs from what i'm told.
Anywho, if anyone else likes it and wants to discuss they're favorite producers and DJ's, here are mine....

Oh and for all i can't stand a single tune they've released since 'The Vault', Pendulum do a kickass dancefloor remix of Bacteria and 'pack of wolves' by nightbreed, the original version of Bacteria still stands on it's own rights but they took pack of wolves from being an uncomfortably poor cross between punky edged metal and drum 'n' bass to something that actually encompasses the spirit of both genres without coming across as a shitty version of either.
