Sleeping Music?
MWhaling:
i often do fall asleep to merzbow.
depending on how drunk or tired i am dictates the album i choose.
sometimes playing electric salad very loudly will just knock me out.
often music for bondage performance is a quiet time.
the stuff on important is good to sleep to.
i used to sleep to just about anything, but i rarely put music on to go to bed anymore.
Maedros:
Ok, I know I recommended Architecture in Helsinki before, but I have to retract my statement. They're much too... up for me, sleep-wise. Iron & Wine, however... Also, listening to Sounds of Nature really soothes me, so I would recommend that.
El Opium:
Right now I'm about to fall asleep to the "Outer Dark" album by The Nether Dawn. Other artists I tend to play just before bed:
Brian Eno
Pan Sonic (Disk four of Kesto, esp. if I've been drinking)
Autechre
Tim Hecker
Mike Tamburo
Charalambides
Avarus
If I want to have nightmares:
Hive Mind
Luasa Raelon
The Eyeball Kid:
--- Quote from: Maedros ---Ok, I know I recommended Architecture in Helsinki before, but I have to retract my statement. They're much too... up for me,

Is their first album, Fingers Crossed, avalibile where you are? Its alot more peaceful and calm and nice and pretty and wonderful, and it evelopes you in a warm loving blanket of happy peacefulness and love and nice prettiness.
I'm, um, rather obsessessed with that band
