These guys are probably seeing more play than any other band on my computer right now, and I can't even download their damned songs.  All they've got is a myspace.

Folk Rock from a small community, you can't get much better than this.  Imagine if Neil Young decided to start a punk band.

Neil Young was already in Crazy Horse, I think that's as close to punk as we're going to get with the guy and I think you should be satisfied.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

Crazy Horse was hardcore.  I'm sorry, but that band has my respect.

I'm glad you like.

I guess I should give a better analogy.

Imagine if Gordie from the Tragically hip beat the shit out of Kurt Cobaine.

Better?

They're a local band, I had the pleasure of seeing them live along side my friends band (andborwnleaves {Look out for these guys too, when they're done recording I'll throw up some tracks, as for now, check out their myspace}) yet have been unable to contact them as far as a possible album goes.  So we'll have to wait till they get their act together and release something.

folk punk is delicious.  try most of the bands on plan-it-x that played PIX fest and even though they don't have a recording out, there is a band called compost that RULES, so if you get the chance to see them, DO IT.

me = ultimate cowpunk 5000.

My local folk-rock-metal-indie-punk band does it better. Plus they've released a shitload of free music.

i realise that i am slightly buzzed on coffee in the toliets of a boeing 737 rubbing a wet rock on myself. if you've ever had a similar moment of clarity i think you may be able to relate to the feeling.
