We've all had a friend introduce us to a band that we would have never found out about normally that grew on us, or so I imagine. :O  DISCUSS.

I started listening to The Strokes a lot because a friend of mine said "This stuff grows on you, man."  And at first, didn't really care for them outside of a few songs, but now, like... I easily consider them in my top 5 to listen to.

one fo my friends got me into both Coco Rosie and Yo La Tengo, for this I am eternally in her debt.

The Dresden Dolls.

probably 90% of my favorite bands are ones that me and an online buddy of mine have shared with each other, don't really keep track of which went which way.

My friends don't have particularly good taste in music.  I get most of my recommendations from the internet.
