I listen to ALL KINDS OF THINGS because I have electic taste!

darryl, you should check this awesome site i found!

I should be offended, but that's funny as hell. Indeed, I find the word 'pissflaps' funny as hell as it is.

'So long, pissflaps!'

I think that'll be my new sign-off from now on.

Most of my knowledge of music comes from this forum.

It's been a pissflaps 15 pissflaps pissflaps A pissflaps, and as pissflaps to the pissflaps to work on pissflaps pissflaps, the pissflaps us the pissflaps on why they're pissflaps "back to pissflaps" on the pissflaps. Pissflaps.

If I didn't give my friend "videos" on a thumb drive (he has slow tubes) he would have never loaded it up with ska music and I wouldn't be into ska.

Most of the stuff I listen to I either hear about on the internet somewhere, or I read about it in a magazine...as far as a band that a real-world friend hooked me on, I'd have to say the paperchase...first time I ever listened to them, I seriously had nightmares, they're that scary...

Thinking about it, my dad may not be my friend, but he got me into The Beatles, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, The Pogues, Queen, Blur, Eurythmics and Steve Miller.

My freshman roomate from Venezuela got me into Los Amigos Invisibes, an awesome latin-funk-sexy-dancing band who are actually on Luaka Bop, David Byrne's label

A friend of mine just got me into an indie hip-hop/rap group called the Lab Rats, and, as a huge rock fan, it's a big deal for me to get into rap or hip-hop. Otherwise meaning they're fucking AMAZING.

hey there.
A couple of years back my a friend of mine made me a mix tape for my birthday, when he chucked the awfully wraped present to me and said happy birthday you white chocolate coon he told me that track three on that tape would leave a mark on me.

That track was Face of the Earth by The Dismemberment plan.

Man that did leave a mark.
They became one of my favourite bands.
unfortunately the split up but I would say if they were to reunite for a mini tour, say like slint did a year back I would totally sell my soul for one ticket to the show.

I've had friends turn me on to Broken Social Scene, Daft Punk, Nedelle, and a lot of others.  In my attempts to show interest in a female, I've gotten further into Gorillaz, Blur, and Garbage.  I try to sneak peeks into my friends' cd collections when I get the chance.

My girlfriend got me listening to Iron and Wine, something which I am eternally grateful for.
Another good friend recommended Sufjan Stevens.

A friend of mine got me in to AFI, Nine Inch Nails and NUTE. They're three of my favourite bands now so I'm pretty happy bout it.

Weezer about five years ago.

Another friend turned me onto the Mad Caddies, but I haven't listened to them in a while.
