Remember that Erin is back in Tackleford asking Amy how to attract The Boy. I'd expect that that advice is not going to be very good for the situation.

Maybe Erin will have tarted herself up to attract The Boy, and will wind up making a fool of herself? Maybe she will end up attracting The Boy to her instead, and Esther's dark side will come back out?

Maybe Erin will ignore Amy and instead simply get all pouty when The Boy and Esther get back all grinning like idjits. Or maybe one or both of the new happy couple will be eaten by the landshark thing?

Or (and most likely) John's thought of something far more strange and awesome than those fairly predictable outcomes.

SGR is definitely one of my faves. Always well written and I love John Allisons art. I much prefer the hand drawn strips over the Adobe Illustrator ones though. I totally adore that drawing of Esther in the first panel of the one for the 25th.

I've been rootin' for Esther and The Boy to hook up since they appeared in the comics together. And now she is going and making him have that fourth-panel expression! Like he was just punched in the soul-crotch!

BAD ESTHER! BAD! The Boy's heart is not to be played with! He does not have a tag marked "actually a toy!" And no amount of looking jaunty in your captain's hat will win my approval back either!
