Drum and Bass anyone?

Kabukie Kid:
I did not expect to find this here.

I am a drum and bass enthusiast to the extreme.
Some links you would be interested in (if you don’t know them already) are:

Annie Mac - http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/anniemac/

And

Fabio and Groove Rider- http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/fabioandgrooverider/

On the BBC. Annie Mac features DnB, Grime, Speed Garage, Funky House, the list goes on and on. Fabio and Groove Rider are strictly DnB.

Right now I’m digging Alix Perez.

Ed Rush and Optical are my current favorite dnb act. I saw them last year and they kicked ass. Black sun empire was pretty good too. Pendulum were horible when i saw them on tour, on the other hand their album wasn't that great either so explains why.

I thought the album Hold Your Colour was pretty tight man but agree that their live performances this year were not on par. When they Spun here in Vic (I think it was only one of the DJ’s) the local opener was a better set by far. We are blessed to have sick local talent though.

Aren't they a rock band from Canada?

--- Quote from: KharBevNor ---I kind of enjoy Curse of the Golden Vampire, so called 'Scum 'n Bass', If I were to find anything else of similiar insanity, I might also like that.

Curse of the Golden Vampire is Alec Empire and Techno Animal (two of the guys from good ol' Godflesh), so I guess Alec Empire in particular would be a good option.  Techno Animal haven't done any other fast music I've ever heard, normally deathly slow mix of industrial, dub, and, more recently, hip-hop.  You could try Alec Empire's band Atari Teenage Riot, who mixed up angry hardcore with distorted drum'n'bass breaks.

Your mileage may vary, I guess. I missed them live.

You're a Canberra boy it seems - did you get to see Randall a couple of weeks ago? One of my mates was supporting, but I was too damn poor to go.
