so is Connor Oberst (spelling?), the guy that does Bright Eyes, is he some kind of indie god or something?  i will admit he is extremely talented and i am currently addicted to/learning his song "First Day of My Life".  but i've seen him mentioned frequently in the comics.

I'm formulating a theory that Conor Oberst is actually John Conor, incognito, and that he's going to defeat SkyNet using the tremulous power of indie music.  Of course, what this means is that instead of being ruled by robots, the planet will be ruled by indie kids, and consequently humanity will quickly die out just as surely as if the robots had stayed on top because everybody will shut themselves away in their room listening to their Cure and Smiths re-issues and never quite building up the courage to go and ask out that cute guy/girl they've had a crush on for the past three years, and thus the reproductive rate will go into free-fall.

In the third picture, he appears to be wearing a knit sweater with a skull wearing either earmuffs or headphones.  I never thought I'd like something involving Conor Oberst, but there you go.
