What was really cool about Last King of Scotland is how the cinematography tied into the character. He really wasn't connected to what he was doing, so the camera was tilted or shooting from a long ways off. At first I thought it was really wierd But...

when they pick him up with the hooks, the angles changed. subtle.

I saw Stay last night.
I thought it was really well done. A psychological mystery/thriller about a psychiatrist (Ewan McGregor) who's trying to stop a patient from comitting suicide while dealing with his own slipping reality. An excellent performance from Ryan Gosling as the patient.

isnt that the one where mcgregor gets shot and a beam of light comes out of his chest? if not what movie am I thinking of then.... I always caught that movie partway through.

I recently watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which I must say is one of the best movies I have ever seen.
In theatres though, the most recent good movie I watched was The Pursuit of Happyness.
