anyway. i also saw nacho libre and tideland.
didnt think either were that good, although tideland had some interesting effects.. >.>

Last movie I saw that was really good was Pans Laybrinth, that just blew me away.
I saw Deja Vu on the weekend, and that was ok.

Okay, ElCap wrote about this back in December, but since it's being released on video Tuesday, I thought it'd be worth mentioning again.
Shortbus was artsy erotic with Animal Collective and Yo La Tengo songs. The plot was good, but the acting was a bit Clerks-y. I agree that the characters were great and it has great cameos, too (Le Tigre's JD Samson is in the lesbian room when they're talking). All in all, if you are not scared by queer sexuality it is worth watching.

That's out now? I've wanted to go see that...anyways, I watched The Prestige last night, and I actually liked it more than The Illusionist. Maybe it was the type of illusions that were being done, I don't know, they were both very good, I just liked The Prestige a little more.
