Just got back from seeing DragonForce. The title pretty much sums it up. Anyone else in the STL area see them at the Pageant?

no but i saw them not too long ago in oregon and it was pretty amazing.
its hard to really appreciate dragonforce until you see them live and/or hang with them and drink some beers.
i rarely find myself saying "hmm i feel like listening to dragonforce right now." but i'd see them live again in a second just because they put on an amazing show and Sam and Vadim are awesome to hang out with. the other members of the band are "wimps" according to Sam and dont like to hang out and drink before/after shows but Sam and Vadim are cool enough that it doesnt matter.
moral of the story: drink a beer with dragonforce. you won't regret it.

anyway thats my dragonforce rant.

Also I would like to point out that the combination of Sailor Moon and faux-Kerouac / Sonic Youth spelling is perhaps the purest distillation of what this forum is that we have yet been presented with.

I've loved DragonForce ever since Valley of the Damned came out, and it makes me grumpy that they did Ozzfest.

They annoy the hell out of me, they're too fast even for power metal lol.  Each to their own though, that's just my opinion.

What I just don't find cool is that Herman Lee gets too drunk; he gets to the point where he can no longer play and his technique is sloppy as shit.  If you don't belive me watch the betcha can't play this he did in guitar world or look through some of the live videos on you tube.

Deagonforce rock, going to see them in December, my second Dragonforce gig this year.

I also went to see Breed  77 last night, they are pretty cool.
