Not very independant, oh well, whatever

*Cough* Anyways, whilst i do not have mod powers and cannot stand menicingly over your shoulder threatening to delete your posts, i will ask that you at least put a sensical post about whatever show, movie or whathave you and a brief explaination of what its about

nuisance:
Only TV comedy I've seen in the last ... 3-5 years ? that I've really liked has been Black Books.  And that's not amazing, just solid.

Actually, Nathan Barley was pretty great from time to time.  Can't go past a bit of Chris Morris.  Kinda have to know design wankers, I guess, but the electroclash happening where a singer tunelessly shouts "TERRORISTS .. ARE GAY" while graffiti and stencil art stuff flashes nonsensically on a screen was spot on.

I've heard heeeaps of good things about A Mighty Boosh, but never saw it.

Jersey Girl was never made in my small, self-centered universe. Also, I'm not a huge Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back fan. Thank god Clerks 2 was gold, otherwise I'd have lost faith.

I like things that are fun. Liking things that are fun is a pretty decent thing. I don't quite understand your contempt for fun.

jeez

Anyway, everything mentioned so far has been pretty decent. I have really been enjoying My Name is Earl for the time that it has been on, I enjoy the way it has a really cheap, trashy aspect to the comedy, but it manages to keep the writing at a level so that it never talks down to the audience.

I am also eagerly waiting a R4 release of Reno 911, because it is on so rarely on cable TV here, that every dose is like a deliciously concentrated shot of bliss. It's just that whole classic comedy of errors, with every single thing going wrong, which always cracks me up when done correctly.
