I know that you have all seen it.

The Skittles commercial with the singing bunny.

Shall we discuss the unsung art of commercials?

I've always thought the commercials for Geico were brilliant...I actually miss the old cartoon-ish "We all do dumb things..." commercials

Unsung? I beg to differ. Please make note of your local independent cinemas and keep an eye on them, as people tend to flock to screenings of the winners in droves.

Local independent cinemas? Hoooo boy. I'm from the midwest, dude. Nothing here but the big honkin' movie complex ... cimema 24 and such. Sad fact. Anyway, they show commercials at movie theatres? That's sweet.

*Was that a stupid question?

I think that bunny commerical makes no fucking sense.  What the hell kind of reason does it give to eat Skittles?  I remember the rabbit more than the Skittles.

That being said, I love the Geico commericals as well.  Any funny commercials are good.

I saw the sweetest commerical not too long ago..let me recount its glory unto you...

Ok, a very large deer of sorts (very obviously fake) is lying "dead" on a beach next to the ocean and a blonde lifeguard guy in red swim trunks runs over and yells "NOT ON MY WATCH!" and starts giving the deer CPR. The deer then spurts some water out of its mouth and lifts up its head...then the screen says SAVE BIG BUCKS!!!!

I nearly died laughing and ran to tell my sister about it...

Thus, showing the general failure of the commercial..it was so good I ran off before I got what the hell they were selling :D

Haha, commercials fail :P

i think one of my favorite commercials right now would have to be the bacardi commercial where the two guys are running against the flow of traffic in a marathon dressed as fish.... then they run into a bar where everyone had been watching them on tv and everyone toasts to swimming up river.... ever time i see it i die laughing

Man, I hate advertising, but Honda have some good ones. Also, those Orange 'Don't let a mobile phone ruin your film' things they have in front of films in some cinemas. Those are fucking ace.

I'm from the midwest, we have a local indy/arthouse theater. And yes, they show commercials at theaters. There's Mountain Dew commercials and Doritos commercials and many other commercials. It's not sweet at all

Carlton Draught makes the best ads ever.
I've seen every one of those in the cinema.  ^_^  Some of the few ads I can tolerate.

I love the Skittles commercials lately.  The skittles gum one, where the kid floats away on his bubble, was the first one I remember.  Then there was the eagle that gave skittles to the guy quacking.

Then my favorite.  A guy goes in for an interview with a super long beard and it (his beard) gives the lady a skittle after she tells him that he's not experienced enough.  Then the beard strokes her face gently as the guy goes "Experience."  And it ends.

I also agree with Khar that Honda commercials are pretty neat.  I like most car commercials in general, though.

By the way, in case no-one knows what I was talking about with the orange ads:

Carrie Fisher
Spike Lee
Roy Scheider
Patrick Swazey
Darth Vader
Steven Seagal (the best one)

my favorite ads are:

the sky ad where the penguin waddles along and falls face flat into the ice and breaks through into the water, and all the other penguins come in after it, that ad is insanely adorable =DDD
and before you see a movie, the orange phone ads are really good. i especially loved the lord of the rings parody with sean astin, hahaha :)

The Miller Lite commercial where the guy taps the other guys bottle and "beer" comes spurting out.

IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE HE'S DOING THE GUY A FAVOR BY GETTING RID OF MILLER LITE!
