So.....whatchu guys think of TMBG?
Disgruntled Jack:
Personally, I really like TMBG.
I've heard people complain about how the singer sounds nasally sometimes, but I think the songs are good anyway.
Gryff:
What is happening in your avatar, man?
soak:
I don't know if I could ever listen to a whole album and Dr. Worm makes me seeth with anger but some of the older tracks like Istanbul etc are enjoyable in moderation.
a pack of wolves:
That article's great. Although TMBG are still fantastic, and Don't Let's Start and Birdhouse In Your Soul remain two of the best pop songs ever written.
Ally:
When I was in 7th grade, my horrible history teacher (Mr. Yellen you will never be forgiven for your crimes against HUMANITY) played a TMBG song (Istanbul, since it was "relevent") to be "cool" and "hip."
So I have no idea if they are good or not because they bring back lots of bad memories. Negative connotations. Oh man I could write a book about what a crap teacher Mr. Yellen was. He was probably the first teacher to actually make me cry. I mean, everyone in the class still remembers that song (and all the words) because he basically kept it on repeat the whole year.
