Maybe we should make a sticky thread that's just for people plugging their own comics.

This would do one of two things:

People interested in reading comics plugged by people that go make those types of comics would have it all consolidated in one thread, and it'd keep the topic spam down by relegating what a lot of the topics seem to be about down to just one thread.

i still think this is a good idea, if only a hero would arise with the strength and courage to create a thread where comic prositituion were legalized and heavily taxed.

Why not just put a link in your sig? It'll get out to a lot more people that way, I think.

radsteveness, I took your link away. Put it into your sig and you can hang around, and people might click it! Please don't just spam it, though.

i just think it'd be a good place for people that just register to pimp their comic to do that vile thing, cause there's no way to stop them. it's sort of like how caged animals crap in the corner, ya know? only they're in this circular room so they just spray it everywhere.

edit: grammar

And I'm back!
Sorry about that.
I didn't know what the politics where when it comes to stuff like that here.
I thought this place would be a little more recptive to new web comics.
Anyway, I took the advice.
My link is in my sig
Check it out.

If the author calls his webcomic "crappy" before anyone checks it out, I sure as hell ain't going to click the link.

Have faith in your shit, people! Even if it is shit!

I don't think it's so much that no one is receptive to new webcomics, but it's more about at least respecting the forum you're posting in.  If you just want to pop around and shamelessly plug your site, you should do it on the forums of a site like Top Web Comics which is a site whose whole point is different webcomics.  This forum belongs to an established comic and signing up only to post your url is a bit disrespectful to that comic.  Anyway, the "sig method" works just as well if people like what you say.  I spend just as much time clicking on people's sigs as I do reading what everyone is saying.  What can I say?  My day job is pretty uneventful...

That statement in its self, wether you know it or not, it just another clever way of whoring your self out.
