Just listen to Skyclad and you are absolved.

It's my cure for everything.

Do, however, limit yourself to Skyclad with Martin Walkyier.

That was truly wonderful.

P.S; I love Between The Buried and Me and Darkest Hour but other than that most of the bands on Victory Records (I'd like to single out Hawthorne Heights and Aiden in particular) sure could stand to suck a lot less.

The Eyeball Kid:

--- Quote from: tommydski on 28 Oct 2006, 05:34 ---do you like 60s/70s singer-songwriters? (try saying that four times very quickly...)

why not try bob dylan, phil ochs, neil young, gram parsons, van morrison, tim buckley or john cale?

--- End quote ---

yeah, sure. i hardly have any Dylan stuff.... its only 4? 5? gigs of my music collection. And i'm not even wearing my Dylan shirt today, so i'm hardly a fan
er, one of my Dylan shirts
and i lost my large Dylan's sheriff badge
And i only own one book on him (a collection of academic writing) though i've read a few more
i think my point is that if there was a fight for biggest Dylan fan on this board I might be in the running

er
so those are all great guys and great bands and Van Morrison's 'Astral Weeks' makes me weep openly, and if anyone else needs non-indie pop recomendations I can make a whole list of guys like that
but its kinda something i know about
