Animaniacs
« on: 09 Nov 2006, 22:43 »

Volume 2 comes out Dec 5.

My favorite segments were always "Good Idea, Bad Idea," "Pinky and the Brain," and "Randy Beamans Friend."

Anybody else remember/still watch this gem?

This show is the best damn cartoon ever!  hands down, no which way about it.

I laughed at this show when i was 6 I still laugh now that I'm 20.

Back in high school i learned the nations of the world song for a solo concert in choir.  it was badass and people were awed.

By "fixed", I meant "I need to buy them".

But thank you, Matt.

Yeah.  The first 25 eps are out already, the next 25 come out December 5th, and hopefully they sell well enough for WB to put out the last 2 volumes sometime next year.

So one time okay so one time Randy beaman's aunt was sitting on the porch swing when she flet something licking her feet she thought it was her dog but it wasn't it was just some crazy guy that did that.

Okay bye.

Buttons and Mindy! Pinky and the Brain was always my favourite part though. I loved it when they got their own series. And hated it when they brought in Elmyra and ruined it all... <sadness>

I need to pick up those DVDs.  Is the episode where Wakko had to use the potty out on DVD yet?  It's the one where he's like running around the world trying to use the bathroom.  I loved that one.

It's not on volume 1, but it might be on volume 2.

Animaniacs was nothing short of incredible.

Pinky & the Brain and Good Idea/Bad Idea were certainly the greatest things ever animated.

Slappy is wonderful. they did a thing about woodstock when the Who were playing that was similar to Who's on First?. Who's on stage? The Whoooooooo. Yes, WHO? THE WHOOOOOOOOOO.

but Pinky will always be my favorite. and the wheel of morality.

I remember this show. Very funny in the early days.

One joke from it - apart from the States/Capitals and Countries Of The World songs, both of which my brother knows by heart - has become a long-term running gag in my family:

'Knock knock.'
'Who's there?'
'Max.'
'Max who?'
'Max wants to come in and go crazy!'
'I don't understand.'
'If you knew Max, you'd be laaaaaughin'!'
