Johnny C:
Okay guys.

-Laptop repaired
-New semester coming up
-Boring classes anticipated

Help me out here. I have SNES and NES emulators so now I need to know what I should get.

On a completely different note, I'm stoked for getting a Wii because it means I'll have access to some awesome virtual console action. Shame about Rare because that means I'll probably never get to play Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64 ever again.

www.zsnes.com

The place that introduced me to the internet.  Also a good place to go to talk to emulator nerds about suggestions.  Note: Asking for ROM images will get your banned.

Storm Rider:
Just because Rare is owned by Microsoft now doesn't mean that none of the Rare games will ever appear on the VC. The Donkey Kong Country games are already coming, because Nintendo owns the Donkey Kong intellectual property and thus Rare was functioning as a second party instead of a third party in that series. Perfect Dark and both Banjo-Kazooie games are possible, but Microsoft would definitely have to be compensated and that might be too much for Nintendo to stomach.

I would be extremely surprised if Goldeneye ever made it, because not only does Microsoft own Rare now but Activision also owns the Bond license, so Nintendo would have to negotiate with both of those publishers, and after giving them their cut it probably just wouldn't be economically feasible.

But yeah, the Virtual Console will probably result in even more of my money flowing into Nintendo's pockets. Especially for the SNES and Genesis games, because I never actually owned either of those consoles. I've played a few SNES games over emulators, but that probably won't stop me from spending more money impulsively, because that is what I do when it comes to video games.

Dimmukane:
They should totally release packs of games on DVD discs or something.  Anyways, you can probably find a massive torrent or something online with a bunch of games.  I'm partial to the Soul Blazer-Illusion of Gaia-Terranigma trilogy.  Secret of Mana is also time-consuming.

Splunkle:
Start with all the classics, and go from there!

From the big N, you want all the Mario, Metroid and Zelda games.  The holy trinity, as such.  Except maybe Metroid 2... wasn't that a Gameboy game or something?  Also, you should totally get Earthbound, because it is indeed a fucking awesome game.

Moving onto Square: Final Fantasys!  Grab 'em all, they should keep you heaps occupied for a while.  Also, Chrono Trigger, in case you have been hiding under a rock, is awesome.  As are the Mana games (known in Japan as Seikun Densetsu.  I think I spelt that right).  Seikun Densetsu 3 was never realeased in English, but a bunch fans translated it.  There should a be a ROM of it at your favorite ROM site.

There are a bunch load more, but I thought I would start with the obvious ones!  Also, Its late and I must sleep! so if the list is still lacking tommorow I shall add more!
