Shrek 3 Trailer

I know they are milking from the success of the other films but the others were pretty good! So hopefully this will be too!

Anyone else here like the Shrek movies?

I love the Shrek movies!! The second one was almost better then the first --and that's rare in sequals. I have high hopes for this third one.

tjios has gotta be the worst idea ever.

Apart from, like, the doctrine of original sin and the atom bomb

those were pretty bad

looks like it has the same spirit as the first two, so really all they need to do is keep the movie from dragging and they'll be fine

The first one was decent, the second was an abomination.

I wonder if they'll be able to get another 90 minutes out of 'beauty is only skin deep, dudes.'

I liked the first one, and the second was OK but largely forgettable...

I usually cringe at sequels... especially animated ones. Only good effort I've seen was Toy Story 2, which was flippin' awesome :D
I would agree with that. Toy Story 2 was quite good. I just hope that the 3rd one has less pop culture references, as it was real annoying. It definetly had it's moments though.

Just shoot whoever at Dreamworks keeps greenlighting this.

Shrek was original and fun.

Shrek 2 was abysmal.

Shrek 3 will be like a spring-loaded fetus in a box.

Toy Story 2 managed to improve on the original, somehow. Probably because the characters already existed.

That's already on my list of Best Analogies of 2007.

I seriously had to sit there for a second and go "... There was a Shrek 2?"
But then I remembered that it was the one where he turns human, and there was John Cleese. There was John Cleese right?

I bought Shrek 2, thinking that since everyone else said it was great, that it would be. Well...it was awful. I didn't like it. I will probably not watch Shrek 3 because if it sucks as bad as Shrek 2, than what's the point? I could watch the movie ET for the 34th time and get more enjoyment out of it than watching Shrek.

It was John Cleese Lunchbox.

And I have a feeling that because Justin Timberlake is in the new Shrek movie, that the box office takings will be something like $5,000 maybe.

fyi. JT is teh gei.

I thought that Shrek 2 had one redeeming quality - Puss in Boots.  Otherwise, I didn't really care for the movie that much.  The first Shrek I cared for a great deal.

This movie seems like a reach.  As for its cast, my father once said "What does Justin Timberlake have to do with anything?"  I stand by this nugget of wisdom, and will not see Shrek 3.

Oh god... -that- makes me want to cry. Why can't companies ever stop whilst they are ahead? Why must they drive everything into the ground??

(Still looking forward to Shrek 3 though, people...)

I had heard that Michael Palin had a voice part in this, so I'm mildly interested.

shrek.... 4...?

four...?

what the fuck.

These guys are either stupid, or relying on the inevitable fact that they will be popular anyway, or possibly actually right to make four movies and will turn out to make them actually like... good...

hehehe... I abhor stupidity :( these guys can go to hell
