Help me justify buying this.

Its $600,  I got a check of $880 to last me the month of Janurary. This is so beautiful, and I need to go an acoustic today. I also need pants, and shirts. So should I just buy a cheaper acoustic, and get my pants and shirts. Should I buy this beautiful guitar be happy, and just pray that I get that job and then buy pants and shirts?

Why would you need a justification? Cool guitars are a necessity, clothes are just extra. And; do you not already have clothes?

Always willing to help!

Yeah I'd choose your pants better. I have four pairs of jeans which have cost me a total of $80, and one of those pairs was $60. They are all perfectly wearable pants.

basically all my clothes right there.

That and estate sales. Although I usually only buy jackets at those.

By the way, emilio, did I ever tell you about the brown camel hair that I got at an estate sale for like, 11 dollars? Well I took it out the other day and I noticed on the tag that it was a Brook's Brothers jacket. made me happy.

It's a Gretsch. It looks old school as fuck.

You should be asking yourself why you haven't already bought it.

That guitar is spectacular. Buying that requires no justification past "HURR SO PRETTY"

If you're not naked right now, then you don't need any more clothes.

If you are that concerned about your pants you don't deserve the guitar

Consider buying cheap clothes or wear your clothes for a few days in a row. How bout going to the Salvation Army where you can buy a whole suit for like a dime?

Some people don't earn that in a year.

Guitar looks tacky, buy an Ovation.

Damn, I've been saving half a year to buy a guitar, gonna do that tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow. I buy clothes at second hand, not to be "alternative", just because I simply don't have money. The most I'm able to pay for a pair of pants is about 50 kr (about $7).

I'd go for the guitar.

Instead I bought a bunch of beer, got trashed, and managed to spend about $220 of that money, so now its guitar or nothing. Don't drink beer and than go to Stores with money, I walked out with gears of war, a controller, a battery pack, a carton of cigarettes, and almost bought a 20" HD-Flat Screen tv.

I should of just bought that guitar. Got drunk jammed, and buy some pants.

By the way the Diesel thing was a joke. I don't believe in spending more than $100 on a pair of pants. All of my jeans so far were free, second-hand from my friends.

Get the guitar. This is your primary concern. Then you can play you guitar instead of Gears Of War. That chainsaw thing is fun, though, no?

Man, I empathize patatat. I had my eyes on a nice Rickenbacker bass, and instead I bought a shitload of acid and Star Trek: TOS DVDs.

That sounds like a recipe for awesome!

About two months ago I went to the ol' movie theater and watched a special 3D presentation of "A Nightmare Before Christmas" on acid!

Is it just me, or has drug use become more acceptable in these forums? 2 years ago, no one ever mentioned doing drugs, and now you can find a whole bunch of people who admit to doing drugs, and mostly psychadelic drugs at that. Pretty sweet

you could have bought 220 dollars worth of acid and then bought and played the guitar while tripping. That is if you could even understand what a guitar is on acid.

Man... don't talk to me about skin turning into things... fucking Salvia.

Anyway, it's funny you say that, pintsizehomie, I was at a drum circle awhile back and my band's other guitarist kept trying to get me to play the guitar for this group of bohemian types that was all huddled around one of the fires. Wanted me to show 'em my chops. Thing was, I was tripping balls, and, like you said, couldn't really comprehend what do with the fretboard. I understood that it was a guitar being handed to me, and I understood I was expected to play it. It was just playing it that was inconcievable.

The headstock doesn't look that great and the neck is pretty short (only 20 frets). There are many BETTER hollowbodies in that price range.

and for clothes...GO ON A THRIFT STORE SHOPPING SPREE, YIPEE!
