Hmmm..I cant put these in order, but I can give an explanation to there awesomeness.
Frank Zappa. Progressive electric rock in the time of disco, british punk and glam metal? Sign me up!
Elvis Costello. I always appreciate an artist that is prolific as he is insightful and brilliant.
Electric Light Orchaestra. Combining catchy rock riffs and orchaestral flair, they have me successfully hooked. Doesnt help that im a sucker for concept albums, i.e Eldorado.
Pink Floyd. How can a self respecting rocker not have these guys on their list of all timers? R.I.P Syd.
Victor Wooten. Ever wondered what flaminco would sound like on an electric bass? Listen to this guy and youll find out.
Tsutchie. I usually dont like hip hop, but the idea of a japanese hip hop artist got me intrigued, and now I cant stop listening.
Men at Work. Once you get past the "Land Down Under" 80's pop sound, youll realize that Colin is an incredible songwriter.
Visual Audio Sensory Theater (I know its VAST, but I love saying all that). Its a guilty pleasure of mine; the concept of emo metal has me giddy.
Peter Gabriel. Its odd that anyone can have a pop sound and following, but still have an odd sense of individuality and uniqueness, but that was the 80's for you.
The Eurythmics. Mostly for Annie Lennox, the only TRUE diva.
