The most delightfully catchy pop group. I couldn't get tickets to their show at the High Line Ballroom so I went to their free acoustic show at Other Music yesterday. They're absolutely adorable and this is their first time in the States, as far as I know.

Got an EP signed. Definitely worth checking out.

I really like the Pipettes. I think they are catchy and definitely something you can dance to, as proven by the last big party I was at - even people who had never heard them before were moving their hips to their stuff. 

They're not coming anywhere near me on their little tour of the states but if they were I would definitely check them out.

Tommy, apart from some rather delicious bass parts, I am not seeing the big deal about these Marine Girls. I'm not exactly shitting my pants over the Pipettes either, but at least they are rather danceable.

I never implied that The Pipettes were amazing. They are however, as previously stated, extremely catchy, danceable pop music.

That said, I'm about to check out Marine Girls now that I have my net back.

I'm only familiar with the French band Heavenly, pretty typical European Power metal band, Dust to Dust is an ok album, should have mentioned it in the concept album tread a while ago, forgot I even owned it...

Shit I downloaded some vaguely interesting twee-pop, when I could have downloaded French Power Metal instead?
