Alright, so my friend and I sat down and went over the logistics of the thing's wiring. It has a Piezo pickup routed into the base of the neck, and with that, I'm gonna put one of these bad boys right where the tele's bridge pickup would have gone (halfway down the body). It'll have a master volume and a master tone (500k), but I can't decide if I want a three-way switch or a blender pot to switch pickups. Any suggestions?

how hard do you think it would be to get a lefty schecter 006 six thats at least as good as the 600 dollar C-1 i posted above?
all the ones I've seen have the same crappy pickups as my warlock,
and as for build quality I'm clueless
the 006 is just prettier!

obv you wire it for stereo, send the piezo to the board, and fuzz out the jazz p/u into a dirty old valve amp. oh, and go for 1Mohm pots, you'll have a lot more punch that way, and you already got a tone knob to take care of that when you need to.
alternatively, nix the tone knob and just run the magnetic p/u thru an envelope filter.

Why not both? Unless you want to have a tone for each pickup, you could always put three pots on it. One for volume, one for tone and one blending. Plus, you could always put a three way switch if you want a direct change between pickups. (sorry for any grammatical mistakes, it's my birthday, and needless to say, I've drank my fair share)
The good thing about having a guitar with a pick guard is that, if you want to change control schemes, the worst thing that can happen is that you have to buy a new pick guard.
Although, I don't play bass, so don't rake me over the coals if I wrong.

So, peoples, old beat up gear (acquired for free) is supposed to be awesome, right? I have this old amp from a defunct company called ASI, called the q tube 70. I've never used it, because it's missing the fuse-socket-cap-thingy. And the fuse, but that should be easy, I hope. So, I don't even know what to Google or look for on Ebay, cause I can't well type in "fuse-socket-cap-thingy." What do I need? And what fuse, exactly, should I look for? The guy at radio shack couldn't seem to find exactly what I needed.
I've read a couple online user reviews for it. They talk of its ability to liquify herds of live cattle, burn paint off walls, and shatter heavy glass from a distance. And it's apparently got black-light-visible paint on the front. Can you ask for more?
Here's the front (higher resolution here, front and back, so you can see what it's got). And if that were a real tube overdrive, would there be a 'standby' switch, or no?
EDIT: holy crap guys, I just found out that the company G&L exists. About all I know is Fender and Gibson (and I've seen Ibanez, and my dad has a couple Taylor acoustics), so the concept of Leo Fender founding another guitar company blows my mind. Are they any good? Do their (current) guitars appreciate in value as much (or better) than Fender? Do they even sell them at Guitar Center?
