I watched the commentary track that accompanies the DVD of the '89 cartoon movie.  I almost died from laughing.  I forgot how traumatic it had been when they excrutiatingly killed off Optimus Prime to sell a new and different toy.

Somehow the movie reminded me of Better Off Dead.  maybe it was the car. or the lead that looks like a young John Cusack.

Anyone up for a sequel though?  With more robots and less humans?

Less humans would be better. I'd like to see some robotic genocide and less product placement.
