When my brother came home one day, he told a story about a cop that had happened that day. My brother was seventeen at the time, and he DID look a bit like a punk (bandanna tied around his head all the time, aviator sunglasses, died black hair (spiked), and very very muscular), but still.... here's what Mr. cop man did. Pulled him over for no reason. He wasn't speeding (the limit was 55 there, and he drove a crap car. I doubt it could go above 60) or doing anything wrong as far as he knew. The cop told him that he didn't have his seatbelt on (the seatbelt law was new at the time... but he alwaus wears his belt anyway). The officer immediately made my brother get out of the car so he could search it. He handcuffed my bro and sat him on the sidewalk. By the way, he was on his way home from school at the time. The cop found nothing (of course), and told him to go. My brother asked for his badge number.... and he said "no" and put his hand over his badge, went back to his car and drove off.
I was pretty fucking angry. I don't like it when people mess with my big brother. My dad was pretty pissed too, and my mom immediately got on the phone with the PD to try and figure out who that asshole was. In general, I like cops; they've always been great to me. I just don't like the ones that hide behind things with their little radar... or the ones that fuck with my brother.
Are you very protective of your family members (or friends that you basically consider family)? Any one in particular? Do you have any fun stories to illustrate your protectiveness?
