ModBook
HFrankenstein:
Every time I see the Modbook mentioned somewhere, I get very intrigued. It would never measure up to my desktop system, however, for two reasons:
1) No keyboard, and I am a big keyboard shortcut junkie when using Photoshop
2) The screen is too low-res for me. I do my comicking on a 24" monitor at 1920x1200, and even that is a bit of a squeeze for me, since I work at 600 dpi and usually zoom in to 200%.
I could see using it for sketching, but I prefer sketching with a pencil anyway.
Still, very enticing.
TrekkieTechie:
I'm looking forward to hearing what people say about it once they get their hands on their own, rather than one locked down on a table at Macworld. They ship at the end of the month...
Here is the 'iTablet', an iBook mod done by a dyslexic wedding photographer.
And HFrankenstein, you could always pick up a Bluetooth keyboard. Though I can see your point about the size of the screen.
Mnementh:
I have an old PowerBook (4+ years) which the screen broke off of, this might be a way to resurrect it.
Lazer:
The 2500 dollar price tag sooooooorta kinda keeps me from wanting this as much as I would under normal circumstances. I think I'll be just fine with an 80 dollar piece of shit tablet I rarely use.

Spectacular, i paid more than that for my Macbook Pro. I can't help but feel i got kind of ripped off now... Oh well i'll have to stick to the MBP/Wacom combo until i can afford something like this.
