The nose bleed kid asked me this a few days a go. I answered The Arcade Fire. I've changed my mind- though there certainly deputies. Now I'm thinking Broken Social Scene- sheerly based on awesomeness. Seriously, imagine Kevin Drew and Feist in office. That would fucking rock!!!!!!!

arn't bands which consist of more than member illegitimate choices for such a singular position as president?

As much as I love Broken Social Scene, have you seen them live??  Kevin Drew is cool, but he gets kinda bossy.  And when I say bossy, I mean he was yelling at everyone else when they all came in at the wrong time (but all together...), and in front of the whole audience. 

My vote would have to go to David Bazan.

My experience of Broken Social Scene was basically a giant sonic orgasm. If he bossed anything around that evening it was only my ability to perceive and surrender completely to music.

I'm so upset. I had tickets to see BSS awhile back when Do Make Say Think was touring with them and I missed the show. I missed it! I've been kicking myself literally ever since that I didn't do more to get to that show.

It's fairly clear that it's both. Nosebleed, how about instead of making bitchy little snide remarks about music you don't like, you actually write an intelligent, well argued post about it. Tell us what bands you like and why. Tell us why you don't think the bands you don't like aren't good. And don't say "because they suck" or "because they're shitty." When you post as you have been, it makes me and a lot of other people thing you're a total douche bag. Stop being a damn troll and actually argue your point. No one likes posts like the ones you've been making so grow the fuck up and actually post something worthwhile.
