Almost any hair metal song that ever charted, most seventies rock, and a few songs from the early 90s (Bon Jovi and Aerosmith come to mind, hell, Temple of the Dog's Hunger Strike qualifies).

RWS: It's a song that opens rather softly, with keyboards or some basic acoustic strumming.  Heavy drums and electric guitar stuff kicks in after the first chorus, and is marked by power chords and melodic guitar solos.

Man, Eric Martin really looks like a lady in the video for that song was a very attractive woman during the early 90s.  Seriously, if I was as pretty as him I'd probably cross dress.

Further study shows that he was actually a more attractive woman in the early 90s than he is a man now.

Their cover of Wild World probably counts too.

This song is definetly a power ballad.  There's actual an entire collection of power ballads put out by Time-Life Music.  Funniest commercial ever.  Go look up Monster Ballads.
