So I just found out this leaked, but apparently its been out for a while now.  Anyway, this album is suitable to listen to for the rest of my life.  DVNO and The Party are the two best tracks by far.  Everywhere I go I'm listening to this album.  I've barely listened to anything else for the past four days or so.

Haha, wow I was late, Give me a break I'm new.  ANyway, I don't mind an alladin sane converssation.  I heard that the piano on the title track was done totally improvised on the second shot, because Bowie didn't like it the first time around.

Aladdin Sane

Awesome.

I think "Lets spend the night together" is really my favorite track although its hard to really say such things with any certainty.

I'm not really familiar with it.  The earliest I heard of justice was when he did we are your friends with simian mobile disco.

DVNO and The Party are the two best tracks by far.

'The Party'?, The song with Uffie on it? are you smoking rock?

As an aside, We Are Your Friends is a remix Justice (who are two guys) did of a Simian (not Simian Mobile Disco) song called 'Never Be Alone' back in 03.

Eh whatever, point is, the party is fucking awesome.  Its an excellenddance track on par with 3oh!3's "holler till you pass out" you have to listen to music for it comedic dance value, not its musical integrity.

So I was just messing around this weekend with all the on-demand goodies my TV has, and came across the video for D.A.N.C.E.

Meh. I'd rather listen to Digitalism.

My brother really wants to find some of those t-shirts.  So far, he's found four from three different stores, but all in Europe so far.  Someone in the States needs to get on this.

No dude, I am scientifically certain that Uffie is perhaps the worst performer this side of Fergie

The problem is that "this side of Fergie" has to be good. Fergie is the Alpha and the Omega of bad.

Yes, Uffie is not quite as shitty as Fergie, much like getting cancer on your dick is not as bad as getting AIDS and shot in the crotch with a shotgun

Whatever, Uffie is fucking hot, I'd do her in a second. Second, Uffie is turning ornage from all the Karats around her neck, not carots.  Third, her voice has the spunkie cute girl who's fucking crazy sense to it.  If you don't think thats hot, you're crazy.  There's nothing better than a cocky girl who sings about how awesome she is.  This may be my favorite track on the album.  Lyrically, it just makes you smile and say what a badass.  Thats exactly what this album was made for, dancing in clubs and being a badass.

Yeah but "D.A.N.C.E." accomplishes all of that with a chorus of children.

Phantom
Genesis
D.A.N.C.E
Let there be light
Waters of Nazareth
Stress
Dvno

Can't go wrong.
Gets my loins warm on the dancefloor.
Possibly the only album i've been willing to pay for recently.

Uffie is a hussy and The Party is ignorable.
She'd get it in a second though.

How do you think Lindsay Lohan sells records?

Am I the only one who thought that track was amazing?  Depending on my mood, I'd sometimes take it over DVNO.

Also, just out of curiosity, how many of you making this argument actually go to the kinds of clubs were you would expect this album to be played?

Kanye West thinks he's earned the right to make a hit just by rapping over a Daft Punk song.

He hasn't.

Kanye West is turning into the Connor Oberst of rap, in terms of the difference between what he thinks he's earned and what he actually has earned.

Johnny C thinks he's earned the right to post just by saying single words.

He hasn't.

Johnny C. is turning into the Hemingway of forum posting, in terms of writing things which are minimalist.

Usually. They're quite short. On occasion I'll bust out a longer sentence, elegant and flowery; suddenly, you'll be surprised by my ability to craft eloquent turns of phrase like a master craftsman produces a singular work of art. Mostly, though, they're short.

Actually, Daft Punk themselves said they were quite impressed with the song and said they were happy with what Kanye West did with it.

Man, I never got why people called Hemingway's writing style minimalist. PAGES AND PAGES OF RUN-ON SENTENCES ABOUT FOOD?

In other news, Justice apparently has Tha Punkk's seal of approval. Which makes sense since apparently their tour manager is also the guy who runs Ed Banger Records?
