I'm A Fucking Idiot

Quasi-on-topic, my 360, bought near launch, has never had any problems either. Just lucky I guess.

Like my Playstation 2 did? I sent it back twice because the disk drive broke twice and left my system unable to read any Playstation 2 games, Playstation 1 games, CDs, or DVDs. Then it broke a third time and I gave up. It is probably out of warranty now and getting it fixed costs $100 which could buy me a newer model. So far the XBox 360 that I bought last year has not only never had the Red Ring of Death but it actually felt cool to the touch after being on for a week. I must be doing something wrong. I only had to get it replaced when a firmware problem, possibly from a botched download, caused my USB port to suddenly be incompatible with my USB flash drive which is a mild annoyance compared to having my system lose the ability to play any video games at all like my PS2 which is sitting in a drawer long forgotten.

Yeah, I should note that I've had my 360 since last August and it still works completely fine. I just thought I should bring the new chipset addition to people's attention.

That's great! I don't!
But seriously, I am not looking to get into an argument. I just don't like it.

Looks like the gpu isn't being shrunk until August '08 now, so I guess it's time to grab a Falcon
