people comparing Halo 3 to Gears of War. They are to COMPLETELY different games. It's hard to compare an IP with a continuing series. G.o.W's gameplay is more based on duck and cover, then run to the next cover spot so you can flank the enemy. Halo 3 is a more run and gun system. G.o.W. is heavily dependant on the gore and uber macho manliness. I mean, machine guns with FREAKIN CHAINSAWS ATTACHED! Halo 3 didn't need that because it's already captured the majority of gamer's hearts. They didnt' need to try and add something that in the end would fuck up system that worked already. Halo 3's online system is a full fleged online community that's way better than G.o.W's could ever dream to be. In short, both games are extremly good. But you cannot compare a Third person shooter that's fueled by testorone (no offense ladies) to a F.P.S. that's all about overall gameplay.
