I think I rode up too high on the pedal during YYZ.

Since the hinge area is the only unreinforced place on the pedal, it's where it's going to break when it does break.

here's my plan for a replacement

I'm going to construct an electronic drum pad, and attach it upright to a base and install the double pedal off my regular drum kit for it /nod.

I'll finally be able to play Twilight of the Thunder God by Amon Amarth!
