'The Post 9-11 Trance' banned in this country, did anyone hear it?
NothingIncorporated:
The 'Post 9-11 trance' was a 'rap' song of some description that encouraged people to forget about 9-11 and terrorism and dance to some guy in his pad whilst he got all the ladies... or something stupid.. either way, it was awful and it came out far too soon after the 9-11 event... I only heard it once, and I'm pretty sure the BBC banned it from ever being broadcasted again.
Anyone else heard it?
IronOxide:
Songs banned after 9/11 is pretty old hat.

I found a link to the lyrics of the song... reading it, he may prove a point in some ways.. but still for me the 'post 9-11' dance is still inappropriate.
I'll leave it to open opinion though
John Curtin:
How is it 'inappropriate'? It's satire, and really people should not be so fucking precious about it.
NothingIncorporated:
If your mum died and a week later I did a song urging people to forget about her and do a dance, would you not find it a tad inappropriate?
