I sort of took that Shellac album (Excellent Italian Greyhound) and just apply it to various things in day to day life because I am totally a loser/awesome like that.

No, not a good idea. I'm going to refrain from going into detail on exactly how bad a band they are, but regardless of that Sikth are definitely not anywhere close to space rock. Spacemen 3 and Hawkwind are definitely where to start, it's amazing how fresh and undated Hawkwind still sound.

The way they don't have any songs about space, for instance.
