also; yeah, i have a DeviantArt but i can never seem to find what i'm looking for even though i know it's there. any advice for refining my searches?


edit: i figured out what i was doing wrong and have found a wealth of useful images. let's here it for using your brain!

http://www.sxc.hu/ has a pretty good selection of stock photography. 

Edit: I just checked and for personal use it would appear that all of the photography is free to use.  If you are going to use it professionally, they ask that you contact that submitted the image.
