I havn't even upgraded myself from Photoshop 6 yet. I had to use 7 for my multimedia course. It confused me alot, because I like living in the dark ages!
I've got 6 on my desktop, and CS2 on my laptop, lol.
As much as the dark ages rocked, though, I don't know how I manage on my desktop without the healing brush. I mean, I can do all of the stuff I can do with the healing brush with the clone stamp, but it just takes SO much longer.
On the other hand, I know people in classes I've taken who don't EVER use the clone stamp because they've got the healing brush to work with, and all of their work ends up looking fake and textureless.
In the same way that the healing brush does stuff the clone stamp usually took hours to do in a few minutes, healing brush alone only half solves the problems that come up. Everything in moderation.
