I'll probably go when he comes to Melbourne just afterward. The rest of the line up for that festival is just as good- Brian Wilson, Joanna Newsom, De La Soul- and I was almost tempted to make the trip up there for it.

I just saw him the other night. It was craaazy amazing. No Nervous Tic Motion though, which made me sad, but there was Dr Stringz/Fake Palindromes. Which was my favorite part.

Also, a new song! That I enjoyed very much.

Being on the other side of the world, I won't be going, but Andrew Bird puts on a great show. I saw him at Latitude Festival over the summer, and more recently at Koko in London - both shows were great, although the Latitude set was pretty short. At Koko he played Dr Stringz, which was cool, and we got some Nervous Tic Motion action, too ;)

Actually, the only time I've ever seen him, he pretty much sucked balls. I'm pretty sure he was drunk, because he mumbled more than usual and looked like he didn't care.

The man can sure whistle, though.

In this case he probably won't be drunk due to the concert being at 7pm.

I'm going! I decided last night that I would go. So I will. Because he is great, and he's playing at the Spiegeltent which is also great. Plus, hoo-ray for Sufjan Stevens coming to Australia! Even my mum is jealous, because she lives in Tamworth and the only thing they get is the country music festival with women who sing like dying cats and men who sound as though they're gargling castor oil on stage.
