ANDY. I dunno if you saw this picture in gabbly or not, but this is what I think you should do to your hair. It'll do nicely with your wave and body and will frame your face nicely.

Hey Internet!
I'm ready for a change in hair style, getting bored of my current style of... nothing:

Any suggestions of something that may work?

Quick question.
I have a cow's lick on the right side of my forehead, so if I try to part it any further across, my hair goes straight up and I look like Johnny Bravo.
Would parting my hair on the other side make it go away, or would I end up with some weird fringe that would look like a quiff?

i have a HUGE cowlick on the front of the right side of my head, too!

i don't know what hairstyle you have... but i would part my bangs to the right to weight it down.  and after i showered i would intensely blow dry it down and add product if it was being particularly stubborn.

Pardon the angles, but it's the only one I could find where I had a nice cut and the cow's lick ruined it.
I've tried training it and everything, so I might have to go to a salon and tell them to "make it work or die trying"

I'll whip out the photos where you look like your mum.
Also, Mr Steevo. Perhaps a trim/some layers put in, a fringe and attacking it with straightners? I'm bad at boy hair.

Okay, you guys. I need help here.

I have THIS fucking mop of brown unrulyness:

Now, what do I do with it?
I have som incredibly irritating curly bits over the ears, and my neck-hair curls like fuck as well. The hair on top is fairly manageable, but that might be because of the length.

Normally, I have it all slicked, sort of rockabilly-ish, which I've had for ages now, but I'm thinking the beard I've started rocking is a bit too much of a style clash with that.
I'm thinking either going short, super-short or just short-short in the sides and keeping the long hair on top. I don't know! Help me!

Ok, I'm planning on dying my hair again after senior photos (family wants me to look presentable for them, but afterwards it's my hair!) and I was wondering if I should do the whole 'funky colored hair' thing again.

I did it once before, with a result of  http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w44/Denzyz/DenPINK.jpg that.
Wondering if I should go the pink route again, or maybe a different color?

No Offense, but the pink look kind of twat-ish. Maybe try a blue? It's really a matter of what you like.

oh mannn i love the pink and i am so jealous that you can do it.  when i see people with brightly colored hair it makes me so happy.

maybe just to try something new, instead of doing your whole head this time you could do streaks or maybe the tips or something?  or if you are certain that you want the solid block of color, the color you choose is honestly up to you (although i personally like the pink). oh and pics plz afterwards.

I can honestly say that's the first time I've been told I looked like a barbie doll. Heh.

I was thinking an overall purple color, with electric blue streaks through it, this time around. I do like purple, and last time I did the pink because a friend did it too. Yay conformity!

Not a big deal.  I understand, a lot of the girls around school now do that bright pink streaks in their hair thing, and well...they're barbies, pretty much.
Although if you think me with pink hair is barbie, you ought to have seen me when I was bleach blond for a couple days. It was weird.

(pics)

Now, what do I do with it?

Honestly, I like the look you've got going.  The length you've got now is actually my favorite on most guys.

That said, I think you could also rock something shorter all around, leaving just a little bit of the length on top, like this:

(Too much hairspray and constipated grimace are optional.)

If you're looking for a big change, you've got good enough bone structure that I think you might be able to pull off the "bald young man" look.  Maybe?  Maybe not.

Hey Lummer, you could start by explaining yourself for Viva la Vida.

Also personally I think that looks great as is. Trim up the back and sides and keep the top.

(Elizzybeth if you'd ever seen Lummer with a guitar you'd know that the grimace is not optional)

Back - first is fine, but third could be stunning though perhaps hard to do really, really well.
Front - first or third (can't tell the difference, really); second isn't formal enough for the back.

Back #1 definitely, bangs #1. Bangs #2 I think looks really good but Paul makes a good point about the formality.

style #2 or #3 with bangs #3 for sure. i like 2 a lot but 3 is more dignified. i guess option 2 would be better for punx-ing it out or being a tad cheeky/youthful, whereas 3 is more refined. either way, i want your hair colour.

style 1 or 2 are really nice. 3 could be amazing but it would require jeweled bobby pins and some extra time. I would go with style 2 and add a few hair gems down the pony.

Bangs I would definitly pin back like style 1.

Dang no way you guys, option three for the back with bang option 2 is by far the best, so there. A close second is back option 2 (you would look like Belle!!!! if only your dress was yellow) with bang option 1.

Though really all of the styles you posted are nice, I'm just going by the dress you posted, and nothing is classier than a french twist.

I'd go the French Twist (i think that's what it's called - option #3 updo anyhow) with a some kind of sparkly hair accessory in it. Having your bangs out (i.e. like they normally sit) could work really well if your hair was clean and super shiny and they were styled well.

Also: How did you do the flipped over ponytail thing? I used to have this loopy thinger when I was a kid that did that and you'd pull the hair through and pull it down. Can you still buy them?

In terms of the back, I'd go for #3, or #2.
Personally, I just think the ponytail is beautiful, but for a formal occasion it might be too... well, non-formal.

As for front, I'm gonna go with what gets a gut reaction for me. #2, with the bangs down triggers a total "Whoa"- and wobbly-knees-effect with me, so if I had the last word, I'd say that was it.
But again, it's not that "formal", so #3 might work best.

Yes, I agree with the 2nd bang look working well, but then again it's a formal occasion. So maybe not the best choice.

Yes! Jamie agrees with me, and we clearly know what's up. But show us what you do anyway!

Also to Jamie, you can do that thing yourself without the loop, just make the pony a little loose and you just poke a hole with your fingers and flip the pony into that. I used to do it upside down before I chopped all my hair off. You might have to loosen and tighten it a couple times to look right though.

So here's my question. After 20 years of bicking my head every morning I decided to grow my hair out. I now have an inch and a half off odd colored hair on my head. My beard and eyebrows are honey blond. My head is sort of...dirt brown. I am sure that if I leave it long enough it will eventually turn the same color as the rest of my body hair (It has it's own goldd tint trying to peek out) but I am sick of the wait. How do I get the curtains to match the carpet?

SO!

I've never died my hair before.

but I want to die it purple... I'm going to use semi-permanent dye. The problem is, the brand I've bought only comes in semi-permanent, and the only permanent I have easy access to are crap (CVS doesn't give great purple options).

So if I like it, I would want to dye it permanently. But where would I find the same color?

Also, is dying it a terrible idea?

(my hair looks like this: http://www.new.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=335821&l=efb92&id=1172281292 and this http://www.new.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=267803&l=93acf&id=1172281292 - Sorry, I don't know how to put photos in... and I'm the one in the plaid shirt in the first one)

guiz, guiz, I want to do something with my hair. something drastically different than what it is now. I'll start with what it is now: really curly at the ends, decent sized curls (as in, not basically-an-afro curly). Although If I comb it when it's dry it sticks out like an afro, sort of. like I said, curly at the ends, which means the top, not really curly at all. (when I have really short hair, it's straight, once it reaches a certain length, it starts curling the fuck out of itself) If it were straight, I'd call it a little less than shoulder length ~ish. as is, it almost reaches the bottom of my ears, and doesn't cover my eyes at all. I'd like to make it clear, I think I have pretty nice hair, and whenever I get it cut, the hairdressers say I've been gifted, like I'm fucking superman or gandhi or something. I take good care of it, comb it (when wet, don't want no fucking afro), shampoo & conditioner, all that shit. this is how I feel about my hair. but I'm sorta bored.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, I don't have a problem with my hair, but I feel like maybe I should do something, I haven't had a drastic change in hairstyle for a while. so, what do I do?
oh, and I'm a guy, just to make things clear.

I've got a pretty good picture in my head about your hair, but no clue as to your face shape which is important! You should put up a picture.

What about orgasmic chemistry.

I can expand the definition of that if anyone wants to roll around to my Fortress of Love.

Lila dying your hair isn't a terrible idea.  If it looks bad, or you just don't like it, you can wash it out or dye over it with another color or just wait for it to fade.

I always wanted to try purple, and never did before I entered the Adult World of Frowning Upon Unnatural Hair Color, so definitely go for it while you can! You might have trouble getting the purple to really pop, though, since you hair looks a little on the dark side.
