I went to a Mt. Eerie show in this little venue. It was pretty much the most ridiculously awesome show you could imagine. I think maybe a few people were at least close to crying.

Mount Eerie is fantastic live, especially in venues like that. I saw him play in a venue of campus here of about that size (perhaps a bit smaller). He played for an hour and a half - all requests which means we heard the all the best songs from all the albums by both The Microphones and by Mount Eerie. Truly beautiful, fantastic stuff. And yes, pretty much tear inducing. Also all the times I've seen Sigur Ros have made me cry.
