Why do I always find bands right after they broke up?

I swear it happens all the freaking time. Does this happen often to you guys, or is it just me? I mean, Death From Above 1979, Deathray, Dispatch, Pavement, Bear vs. Shark... Dear god, don't get me started on Bear Vs. Shark. What bands have you guys (unfortunately) discovered post-breakup?

Try reading something like TMT, stereogum, or pitchfork. Then maybe you'll find out about some bands before they call it quits.
