Why do I always find bands right after they broke up?

What, do they think that they've just been on hiatus for 37 years?

--- Quote from: a pack of wolves on 12 Dec 2007, 19:08 ---LP III was on Fat Wreck. I didn't realise they split up. Didn't they do that song 'Drink Soviet Champagne' a few years back? It was called something like that anyway, I really liked that one but not so much the other things I heard. Shame though, that was a quality track and I always vaguely intended to look into them more but never got around to it.

Ah. My bad. Only LP was nearby at the time, and I didn't feel like looking for the others.

Dude the country collapsed in '97 due to everybody falling for pyramid schemes, it wouldn't fucking surprise me.

Also: Charles fuckin' Mingus. I only noticed the "1959" in the "year" column on my iTunes about a week ago. The sound quality on Mingus Ah Um fooled me. Man that fucker died 15 years before I was born, what the hell?

another big one was led zeppelin, when i got into them when i was 13 i had the mentality (for some reason) that i saw them in concert and thats why i got into them, which obviously wasn't the case

ah yes, young stupid fool
